Dr. Eric Benson
Dr Benson is focused on Cosmetic, Aesthetic-Restorative, and Bite-Related Dentistry. He is a Sustaining Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the founder of the Finger Lakes Institute for Advanced Dental Learning, and the former Director of the San Francisco Institute for Advanced Dental Learning founded by Jeff Morley. Dr Benson has completed hundreds of hours in continuing education and hands-on courses from experts in the areas of cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, dental implants, and bite-related dentistry, including Orthodontics from places such as the Eastman Dental Center in Rochester NY, the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine’s Esthetic Dentistry Continuum, the Chicago Center for Esthetic Excellence, the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), the Falh Center for Oral Facial Art in Curitiba Brazil, and the San Francisco Institute for Advanced Dental Learning.
Since 1999, Dr. Benson has received advanced training in areas such as the diagnosis and treatment of bite stress, cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry, age-reversing dentistry, tooth colored bonding, Orthodontics (including Invisalign® and ClearCorrect®), and dental implant treatment planning and restoration. He has completed hundreds of cases ranging from “one tooth problems” to “full mouth smile makeovers.” Dr Benson has served as course director, course coordinator, and course instructor for numerous hands-on courses for dentists, staff, and lab technicians looking to improve their skills.

In his spare time, Dr. Benson has been involved with girls Junior Olympic Fastpitch Softball, coaching teams to state, regional, and national championships. He has worked with many success-driven Division 1 head coaches, including Mike Candrea, the head coach of the 2004 and 2008 Women’s USA Olympic Team, and Sue Enquist, the former head coach of the eleven time NCAA Division 1 women’s fastpitch National Champion UCLA Bruins.
Dr. Benson is a very proud father of one daughter. He is an avid martial arts student and holds the rank of second degree black belt in ITF Tae Kwon Do, and is a former New York State middle weight fighting champion. He has studied the way of the Samurai, which means “to serve” and applies this philosophy to both his personal life and the way in which he treats his patients.
His hobbies include music, attending Broadway shows and concerts, traveling, skiing, hiking, golf, and weight lifting. He also enjoys gourmet cooking.
Lynda Cole, RDH
Lynda Cole is a Rochester native who resides in Spencerport, NY with her husband Dan, two children Aaron and Marissa, and their dog Lily. Lynda graduated from Monroe Community College in 1979 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Working as a hygienist for over thirty-five years, Lynda has been working with Dr. Benson for over fifteen years, since he first started practicing. During this time, she has worked with adults and children to help build a friendly, family and community based dental practice. Lynda consider’s her patients like an extended family.
Lynda focuses on prevention of dental disease and educating patients on the importance of proper oral hygiene. As a major advocate of Children’s Dental Health Month, which is every February, Lynda has been going into pre-schools and local elementary school for over twenty years, to educate children on the importance of dental health. She stays informed on the most recent dental advancements by taking continuing education classes.
In her free time, Lynda enjoys reading, yoga, gardening, shopping, and especially spending time with her beloved family.
